About the Scheme
Rajasthan Indira Gandhi Smartphone Yojana provides free smartphones with internet connectivity to eligible women heads of families and girl students to bridge the digital divide and empower rural women with access to government services and educational resources.

Eligibility Criteria
Additional Prerequisites
- Female heads of families enrolled in the Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme
- Girl students studying in government schools from Class 9 to 12
- Women students enrolled in government colleges, ITIs, or polytechnic institutions
- Widows or single women receiving government pension
- Women who have completed 100 days of MNREGA work or 50 days under the Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme
- Must possess a valid Jan Aadhaar Card

Visit the official Jan Soochna Portal (jansoochna.rajasthan.gov.in) or SSO Rajasthan (sso.rajasthan.gov.in)
Search for the 'Indira Gandhi Smartphone Yojana' section
Enter your Jan Aadhaar number to check if your name appears on the beneficiary list
If eligible, note the nearest designated government camp date and location from the portal
Visit the nearest designated government distribution camp (held at district or block levels)
Carry all original documents listed above along with photocopies
Complete biometric e-KYC verification at the camp
After successful verification, the smartphone will be distributed or benefit transferred to your e-wallet
The application and distribution process is completely free of charge
Who Should Apply?
- ✓Women heads of families in Rajasthan enrolled in the Chiranjeevi health insurance scheme
- ✓Girl students studying in Class 9 to 12 in government schools
- ✓Women enrolled in government colleges, ITIs, or polytechnic institutions
- ✓Widows or single women receiving state pension
Who Should NOT Apply?
- ✗Women or students who have already received a smartphone under this scheme
- ✗Families not enrolled in the Chiranjeevi scheme (unless qualifying through other categories)
- ✗Students enrolled in private schools or colleges
- ✗Women who do not possess a valid Jan Aadhaar Card
