Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana is Maharashtra's flagship social security scheme providing Rs. 1,500 per month to women residents between 21 and 65 years old to support household expenses and nutrition.

How to Apply (Step-by-Step Guide)
Visit the official Majhi Ladki Bahin Portal (ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in)
Register your profile using mobile number and basic credentials
Log in and access the online application form
Verify your identity via Aadhaar-linked mobile OTP
Fill in personal details, family members, bank accounts, and ration card details
Upload scans of required documents along with the signed Hami Patra
Capture a live photograph using the webcam or device camera (mandatory)
Submit the application and note the tracking number for status check
Collect the offline application form free of cost from the nearest Anganwadi Centre, Gram Panchayat, or local municipal office
Fill in the application details and attach self-attested document copies
Submit the completed form back to the Anganwadi Sevika or municipal counter
Dedicated officials will perform preliminary screening and upload the form on the Narishakti Doot App on your behalf
You will receive an SMS notification once the application is registered
Who Should Apply?
- ✓Women residents of Maharashtra aged 21-65 from low-income families
- ✓Widowed, divorced, or single women managing family households
- ✓Women with an active, Aadhaar-seeded single savings bank account
Who Should NOT Apply?
- ✗Applicants from families where any member is an active Income Tax payer
- ✗Women whose family owns more than 5 acres of agricultural land
- ✗Families owning a four-wheeler vehicle (except agricultural tractors)
- ✗Permanent or retired government department employees receiving salaries or pensions
Common Rejection Reasons
- •Mismatch between name spelling on Aadhaar card and bank passbook
- •Bank account is not active or not seeded for NPCI/Aadhaar DBT payments
- •Failure to submit the signed Self-Declaration Hami Patra
- •Uploading a passport-size photo instead of capturing a live photo during online apply
