About the Scheme
Orunodoi 3.0 is Assam's flagship welfare scheme providing Rs. 1,250 per month (plus Rs. 250 LPG subsidy) to women from economically weaker households to support family nutrition, health, and daily expenses.
Welfare Benefits & Assistance
- •Monthly financial assistance of Rs. 1,250 (base amount) deposited via DBT
- •Additional Rs. 250/month as LPG subsidy (effective January 2026), bringing total to Rs. 1,500/month for eligible families
- •Total annual benefit of Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 18,000 depending on LPG eligibility
- •Supports household nutrition, health, and daily expenses of economically weaker families
Eligibility Criteria

- Applicants must be enrolled under the National Food Security Act (NFSA)
- Families must not include government employees or income-tax payers
- Families must not own a four-wheeler, tractor, or refrigerator
- Families must not own more than 15 bighas of land
- Must have an Aadhaar-linked bank account

How to Apply (Step-by-Step Guide)
The Orunodoi scheme operates through an offline-only application system
Online portals provide status checks but do not accept new applications directly
Check your beneficiary status on the official Assam government portal using your Aadhaar number
Submit application form at your local Gaon Panchayat Office or relevant local committee
Carry Aadhaar card, bank passbook, ration card, voter ID, and passport photo
The Panchayat committee will verify documents and forward the application for approval
Approved beneficiaries receive monthly DBT payments to their bank accounts
