About the Scheme

KALIA Yojana (now CM-KISAN) is Odisha's flagship farmer welfare scheme providing annual financial support to small/marginal farmers and landless agricultural households through Direct Benefit Transfer.

Welfare Benefits & Assistance

  • Small and marginal farmers: Rs. 4,000 per year in two installments of Rs. 2,000 (around Nuakhai and Akshaya Tritiya)
  • Landless agricultural households: Rs. 12,500 per year for allied livelihood activities (goat rearing, poultry, fishery, mushroom cultivation, bee-keeping)
  • In addition, eligible farmers also receive Rs. 6,000/year under PM-KISAN (central scheme)
  • All payments through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts

  • Must have Aadhaar-linked bank account for DBT; complete e-KYC on the KALIA portal
