About the Scheme
KALIA Yojana (now CM-KISAN) is Odisha's flagship farmer welfare scheme providing annual financial support to small/marginal farmers and landless agricultural households through Direct Benefit Transfer.
Welfare Benefits & Assistance
- •Small and marginal farmers: Rs. 4,000 per year in two installments of Rs. 2,000 (around Nuakhai and Akshaya Tritiya)
- •Landless agricultural households: Rs. 12,500 per year for allied livelihood activities (goat rearing, poultry, fishery, mushroom cultivation, bee-keeping)
- •In addition, eligible farmers also receive Rs. 6,000/year under PM-KISAN (central scheme)
- •All payments through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts
Eligibility Criteria
Additional Prerequisites
- Small and marginal farmers owning land up to 2 hectares receive Rs. 4,000/year
- Landless agricultural households engaged in farming for more than 6 months receive Rs. 12,500/year
- Vulnerable cultivators identified by Gram Panchayats due to old age, disability, or disease are also eligible
- Must have Aadhaar-linked bank account for DBT; complete e-KYC on the KALIA portal

How to Apply (Step-by-Step Guide)
Visit the official KALIA portal (kalia.odisha.gov.in)
Check your beneficiary status using your Aadhaar number
If not registered, submit a new application or grievance through the portal
Complete e-KYC on the KALIA portal to ensure smooth payments
Visit your Gram Panchayat office or nearest Krushi Bhawan
Carry Aadhaar card, bank passbook, and land documents
The Panchayat official will assist with registration on the KALIA portal
Collect the printed acknowledgment receipt
