About the Scheme

Namo Lakshmi Yojana is Gujarat's scholarship scheme providing Rs. 50,000 over four years to girl students in Class 9 to 12 to encourage enrollment, reduce dropouts, and support their education and nutritional needs.

Welfare Benefits & Assistance

  • Total scholarship of Rs. 50,000 over four years (Class 9 to Class 12)
  • Class 9 and 10: Rs. 10,000 per year (Rs. 500/month for 10 months based on attendance + remaining after passing board exam)
  • Class 11 and 12: Rs. 15,000 per year (Rs. 750/month for 10 months based on attendance + remaining after passing board exam)
  • All payments through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)
