About the Scheme
Namo Lakshmi Yojana is Gujarat's scholarship scheme providing Rs. 50,000 over four years to girl students in Class 9 to 12 to encourage enrollment, reduce dropouts, and support their education and nutritional needs.
Welfare Benefits & Assistance
- •Total scholarship of Rs. 50,000 over four years (Class 9 to Class 12)
- •Class 9 and 10: Rs. 10,000 per year (Rs. 500/month for 10 months based on attendance + remaining after passing board exam)
- •Class 11 and 12: Rs. 15,000 per year (Rs. 750/month for 10 months based on attendance + remaining after passing board exam)
- •All payments through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT)

- Must be enrolled in a government, government-aided, or recognized private school in Gujarat
- Regular attendance is mandatory to receive the monthly scholarship portion
- Must have an Aadhaar-linked bank account (mother's name preferred for DBT)

The school submits applications through the Digital Gujarat Portal (digitalgujarat.gov.in)
