About the Scheme
Rythu Bharosa is Telangana's flagship farmer investment support scheme providing Rs. 12,000 per acre per year to land-owning farmers for purchasing agricultural inputs across Kharif and Rabi seasons.
Welfare Benefits & Assistance
- •Rs. 12,000 per acre per year for actively cultivated land (Rs. 6,000 per acre for each of the two cropping seasons: Kharif and Rabi)
- •Amount directly transferred to the farmer's Aadhaar-linked bank account via DBT
- •In addition, eligible farmers receive Rs. 6,000/year under PM-KISAN (central scheme)
- •Investment support intended for purchasing seeds, fertilizers, and agricultural inputs
Eligibility Criteria
Additional Prerequisites
- Must be a land-owning farmer (pattadar) with land registered in the Dharani portal
- Land must be actively cultivated; fallow, reserved, or non-cultivable land is not covered
- Must possess an Aadhaar-linked bank account for DBT
- Tenant farmers and landless laborers are not eligible under core investment support

How to Apply (Step-by-Step Guide)
Visit the official Rythu Bharosa portal (rythubharosa.telangana.gov.in)
Check beneficiary status using your Aadhaar number or Pattadar Passbook number
If not registered, contact the nearest Agriculture Extension Officer (AEO) for enrollment
Visit your local Agriculture Extension Officer or Mandal Agriculture Office
Carry Aadhaar card, bank passbook, and pattadar passbook for verification
The AEO will update your records on the Dharani portal and enroll you
