Lakshmir Bhandar Status Check Guide

Fact Checked & Updated on July 14, 2026

Online Status Tracking Methods

Once you submit your Lakshmir Bhandar application at a Duare Sarkar camp or BDO office, the local data entry operators upload your details into the state social security database. You can track this verification process in real-time. The West Bengal government provides three primary methods for checking your status on the official portal:

๐Ÿ“ฑ

Via Mobile Number

Track using the registered mobile number associated with your application packet to receive a portal validation OTP.

๐Ÿ†”

Via Application ID

Check using the unique Lakshmir Bhandar Application ID stamped on your offline acknowledgement receipt.

๐Ÿ’ณ

Via Aadhaar / Health Card

Query the database directly using either your 12-digit Aadhaar Card Number or Swasthya Sathi Health Card Number.

Step-by-Step Portal Status Tracking

Follow these detailed steps to verify if your application has been verified, approved, or if it requires correction:

  1. Open a secure web browser and go to the official portal: socialsecurity.wb.gov.in.
  2. On the portal homepage, locate and click on the **"Track Application Status"** option.
  3. In the input field, enter one of the following identifiers: your Application ID, your Swasthya Sathi Card Number, your Aadhaar Number, or your registered Mobile Number.
  4. Enter the security captcha displayed on the screen exactly as it appears.
  5. Click the **"Search"** button. The system will validate your credentials.
  6. If searching via mobile, request the verification OTP, enter it in the prompt, and select submit.
  7. The screen will display your application details, its current processing office (e.g., BDO, SDO, or Treasury), and the verification status (Approved, Pending, or Rejected).

If the status shows "Approved", the portal will display your monthly payment history, detailing the bank transaction ID, date of credit, and amount transferred. If the status is "Rejected" or "Query", contact your local block development office or municipality to submit corrected documents as soon as possible.

Understanding Status Terminology

Beneficiaries are often confused by the technical terms displayed on the social security tracking panel. Here is what each status signifies and the actions required:

  • Submitted / Pending at BDO: The application data has been successfully digitized. It is now awaiting inspection and verification by the Block Development Officer (for rural areas) or Municipal Officer (for urban areas). No action is needed.
  • Approved / Active: Your application has cleared all eligibility filters. Direct cash transfers will begin in the next payment cycle. You can check transaction logs in the payment status panel.
  • Rejected: Your application was rejected due to failed verification (e.g. joint bank account, age outside 25-60, or duplicate entries). You must submit a fresh application.
  • Query / Re-upload Required: A document (usually the bank passbook scan or caste certificate) was illegible or mismatching. You can log into the social registry portal and re-upload the scan or visit your local BDO office.
  • De-activated: Typically occurs when a beneficiary turns 60 (migrating to old-age pensions) or when a change in residency/employment is reported.

Troubleshooting Common Portal Errors

If the portal displays "No Records Found" or fails to load, verify the following:

  • Digitization Delay: If you submitted your form recently at a Duare Sarkar camp, it can take 2 to 4 weeks for local data entry operators to digitize your records. Wait and check again later.
  • Aadhaar Mismatch: Ensure you are typing the correct 12 digits. If your Aadhaar was not seeded during data entry, try searching via Swasthya Sathi or mobile number.
  • Network Latency: During payment disbursement weeks, portal traffic spikes significantly, causing timeouts. Try checking early in the morning or late at night.
